Gleen Close, premio honorífico en los Hollywood Awards

Los Hollywood Awards otorgarán este año el premio honorífico a Glenn Close, según publica The Hollywood Reporter en su página web. Close, que hizo su debut cinematográfico hace 29 años, ha obtenido cinco nominaciones al Oscar a lo largo de toda su carrera - por "The World According to Garp" (1982), "The Big Chill" (1983), "The Natural" (1984), "Fatal Attraction" (1987), and "Dangerous Liaisons" (1988)- y ha protagonizado numerosas películas de gran éxito como "Reversal of Fortune" (1990) y "101 Dálmatas" (1996). Este año es una de las favoritas para lograr una nueva nominación al Oscar por su papel en la película de Rodrigo García "Albert Nobbs".

Carlos de Abreu, fundador y director ejecutivo del evento, dijo a The Hollywood Reporter: "Es un privilegio poder honrar y celebrar un talento extraordinario como el de Glenn Close". Anteriores ganadores de este premio han sido Kirk Douglas, Shelley Winters, Jack Lemmon, Richard Dreyfuss, John Travolta, Diane Keaton, Robin Williams, Dustin Hoffman y Sylvester Stallone.

Con su confirmación, el palmarés se sigue completando y queda, momentáneamente, del siguiente modo:

No sé si Close se debería incluir, pero tal vez Chastain y Gordon-Levitt sí deberían aparecer en el apartado "La Carrera" (sobre todo él, ya que solo es por 50/50).
